Our School

École de Sutton School is committed to ensuring student success through our School Success Plan and a revised Educational Plan.  We are also committed to implementing the Curriculum Reform, the Language Initiative, the Enhanced Learning Strategy and the Safe Schools Initiative, but also in making sure that our classroom programs are adapted to the needs of our students.

In close partnership with home and community, we are determined to make École de Sutton School one of the best in the Eastern Townships School Board.

École de Sutton School is a joint venture between Eastern Townships School Board (ETSB). and Commission Scolaire du Val-des-Cerfs (CSVDC). Our students share the same buses, cafeteria, library, gymnasium and playground, and participate in the same extra-curricular activities.  The teaching and support staff are hired by their respective Boards, but the Principal is responsible for both.  This school model is consistent with the thinking of the people of this area.  The school reflects the values of the Sutton community. We are proud of our beautiful school which sits high on a hill with fabulous panoramic views.
